Google rolled out its latest project, the Tech Equity Collective, at Pharrell Williams' Something in the Water festival in Washington D.C.
Tech Equity Collective is dedicated to accelerating Black innovation and aims to develop greater representation of Black professionals within the technology sector through fostering community collaboration. Google TEC partnered with Black Ambition, Pharrell's non-profit organization with a mission to accelerate Black and Latinx founders in the entrepreneurship space. As a proud sponsor for Something in the Water, Google TEC made a splash with their debut pop-up and spread the word about their new initiative throughout the festival.
